English

We will continue to focus on all of our" National Curriculum Objectives "Age Related Expectations".​ We will read I am Malala and use it to inspire our writing and answer comprehension questions based on this text. Our writing will now focus on cliff hanger narrative with focus on empty words, suspense and hooking the reading so they are wanting more!

 ​Maths

We will follow the White Rose Small Steps and use opportunities to work independently and in pairs or groups, to develop our mathematical understanding. We will use concrete manipulatives and abstract representations to support our knowledge and understanding. This term we will also be learning about perimeter, area and volume along with shape and angles. 

Science

In science, we will be looking at electricity and exploring being safe with electricity. We will also be exploring the use of solar panels and sustainability.

Our PE is Tuesday and Wednesday.

We look forward to working with all of the children in Y6 and their families, on this final year of primary school.
